Let's talk about this word Immanuel, a word that is only really used at Christmas time. Here is what it means.


Immanuel: noun. Bible.

The child whose birth was foretold by Isaiah (Isaiah 7:14) and who in Christian tradition is identified with Jesus of Nazareth. The word originates from the Hebrew `immānū'el, Literally meaning - God with us.
